You’ll be matched with a licensed AAMFT or state-approved supervisor and receive weekly, uninterrupted clinical supervision, following DOPL and AAMFT standards under a signed contract.
We are a family therapy training program committed to support, clinical integrity, and respect for the therapeutic process. Our goal is to help each student grow into a confident, ethical, and relationship-focused professional.
We coordinate with local MFT programs, maintain communication with faculty, participate in site visits, and help you meet practicum and licensure requirements.
As an intern at our clinic, you’ll get a clear orientation, carefully matched cases, and consistent supervision. You’ll stay under 15 client hours weekly (unless approved), and we support your documentation, hour tracking, and licensure prep.
You will receive structured guidance throughout your clinical practice:
We support ethical clinical training through secure practices:
All new interns begin with a structured orientation to support clinical training from the start. This includes an overview of our mission and values, core therapeutic models, the AAMFT Code of Ethics, supervision expectations, and documentation tools.
Our MFT program includes focused training in assessment techniques, intervention planning, and diagnosis through a systemic therapy lens.
We emphasize ongoing feedback and reflection to help you build skills with intention and integrity. This includes self-evaluations, supervisor reviews, client feedback, and peer observations. You’ll also track learning outcomes and clinical insights as part of your reflective practice.
